Terms of Service

Yuzo provides AI-generated weekly meal plans, recipes, and shopping lists tailored to your location, season, dietary restrictions, and household. The service is delivered via the web application at yuzo.app.

We use third-party AI models to generate meal plans. While we work hard to ensure suggestions are accurate and appropriate for your stated restrictions, the AI can make errors. You are responsible for verifying that meals are safe for your household, particularly where health or allergen requirements are critical.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree to provide accurate information when registering. We may suspend or terminate accounts that contain false information or that are used in violation of these Terms.

Yuzo is offered on a subscription basis. Pricing and plan details are shown on the pricing page and during checkout.

• Free trial. New accounts receive a free trial period as stated at signup. No payment is taken until the trial ends.
• Auto-renewal. At the end of each billing period your subscription renews automatically at the then-current price. You will receive a reminder email before the first renewal.
• Cancellation. You may cancel at any time from your account settings or by emailing billing@yuzo.app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access until then. We do not offer pro-rated refunds for partial periods.
• Refunds. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us within 14 days and we will investigate. Statutory refund rights under UK consumer law are not affected by these Terms.
• Price changes. We will give you at least 30 days' notice of any price change, by email. Continued use after the new price takes effect constitutes acceptance.

You agree not to:

• Share your account credentials or resell access to the service.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract the AI models or underlying data.
• Use the service to generate content that is harmful, illegal, or misleading.
• Circumvent security measures or attempt to access accounts that are not yours.
• Use automated scripts to access the service in a way that degrades performance for other users.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

You retain ownership of any content you submit to Yuzo (such as food log photos and notes). By submitting content you grant us a limited licence to use it solely to provide and improve the service. We do not use your personal content to train third-party AI models without your explicit consent.

Yuzo, its logo, and all original content produced by us are our intellectual property. The meal plans, recipes, and shopping lists generated for your account are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use. You may not republish or sell them without our permission.

Yuzo is provided “as is” and “as available”. Meal plans are suggestions only — they do not constitute medical, dietary, or clinical advice.

To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. If we decide to discontinue the service entirely, we will give at least 60 days' notice and pro-rate any remaining prepaid subscription periods.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will notify you by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use Yuzo after that date means you accept the new Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence provide otherwise.
